welcome to My

home on the web

Driving down to Alyssa & James wedding in the Shenandoah valley was nothing short of breathtaking!  The leaves were just starting to change, endless bright blue skies, rolling green hills, hints of the river alongside the road, and even though it was beginning to have that fall chill in the air, the sun was out and shining.  As we pulled up to Rivercrest Farm, there were corn fields as far as the eye could see, a classic bright red and white barn, and cows happily grazing in their pastures.  It was a beautiful and perfect location for their big day!

The bride and groom were very relaxed when getting ready and just excited for their day to have finally arrived!  As Alyssa was walking down the aisle, James had the sweetest look and biggest smile on his face as he watched his stunning bride walk towards him.  They exchanged personal heart felt vows that had everyone both crying and laughing.

I think my favorite part about Alyssa and James is how absolutely madly in love and crazy they are about each other. Every time I asked James to kiss his new wife, he jumped at the chance. If I asked him to pick her up, twirl her, dip her, or anything, he did so, without hesitation! They are truly one of those couples who radiates happiness and love and photographing them was so much fun.

My other favorite part of the night were the speeches.  I think James brother said it best, ” when a couple has breakfast for dinner at their wedding, you know they are meant to be and definitely going the distance”.

Congratulations again to the new Mr. & Mrs. Muldoon! Thank you so much for inviting me to capture your love story. Wishing you both all the happiness in the world!

Wow you got some incredible light! I love that they did their first dance outside, and the shot of everyone hugging them at the end!
