From the moment I met Sydney & Matt at their engagement session, I knew their wedding was going to be a blast! . We started out at Sydney’s childhood home where she and all her bridesmaid got ready, laughing, chatting, and really just enjoying the moment. There is something so special about being able to get ready at home before your big day!
Then we headed off to the Church of the Immaculate Conception where Sydney and Matt had a gorgeous Catholic ceremony. Before we headed to the reception, the couple had to wait for one special guest to arrive so that they could take a quick photo. Their pup Maya! Maya jumped out of the car and ran into Sydney’s arms making for the most adorable moment!
Then it was off to downtown Old Ellicott City for the reception! Before the coupled could join the party we strolled around downtown finding the most perfect locations for portraits. Old Ellicott City is one of those locations that really has it all, rustic town charm, breathtaking rock walls, it just has so much character.
Finally, it was time for them to kick off the celebration! All the guests were on the dance floor the entire time. I think one of the best moments was during the apron dance when Matt cut the line, threw his wallet in so that he could steal another dance with Sydney. The whole night was amazing filled with killer dance moves, sing a longs, and the night finished with a surprise from Sydney’s parents. She ordered over 200 cheese burgers from McDonald’s, it was the perfect treat to end the night! Congratulations you two, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, puppy snuggles, and cheese burgers!
