MR. & MRS. GILLIAMS

Where do I even begin explaining how much fun it was to be a part of Briana & Jeff’s big day! When I first met these two and their awesome pup Charlie, they really emphasized how much they wanted their wedding to reflect them and the amazing city they fell in love in, Bmore. The two met over what seems to be one of the most romantic activity in the city….social sports. It’s amazing how many couples, kickball and flip cup have brought together in this town haha

A few weeks before their wedding I had a phone call to go over their timeline for the big day and Briana had the most amazing story to tell me that I have to share because it will give you all the warm and fuzzies! She tells it best:

“I am lucky enough to wear my maternal grandmother’s engagement ring, original setting and diamonds, from 1950. I’ve admired the ring since I was younger and knew it would be passed down to me eventually as I was my grandmother’s only granddaughter. I told Jeff and my mom that I would love to wear that ring as my engagement ring when the time came for him to propose. Flash forward to my bachelorette party last weekend in Long Beach Island, NJ and I managed to lose the ring within 20 minutes of being on the beach the day we arrived. We searched the beach and neighbors came out with metal detectors to look but it didn’t turn up while we were there. When I came home on Sunday I let Jeff know what happened and he sprung into action. He started searching Craigslist and calling pawn shops. He was contacted by a man named Mike who responded to Jeff’s “lost ring” Craigslist post. Mike told him that he was a member of an international group of ring finders and offered to help look. Mike drove down from Seaside Heights, searched the beach for several house and VOILA, my ring was found again! I thought it was gone for good but I was wrong. Jeff’s response was, “See, this is why you don’t give up on things.”

Finally when it came time to their big day, it was nothing short of one heck of an amazing party! They had their ceremony at St. Casimir right in the Canton Square. Then after we headed over to the site of their first date and a great spot for awesome craft beer, Mahaffey’s Pub for a drink!

Next, we were off to Fed hill since it has the absolute best view of the city for some stunning photos. After that it was time to get the real party started at Tabrizi’s and they did not disappoint! Every single guest danced the night away, busting out the worm, high kicks, and ended the night with a reenactment from dirty dancing to “time of my life” and they nailed it! Congratulations again you two and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your big day!
