welcome to My

From my first phone call with Sarah and Shane, I knew we were going to hit it off.  As soon as they told me about their vision for their wedding… this one of a kind, amazing, craft beer bar in Canton, Of Love and Regret, I knew it was going to be such a fun day!  They pictured a very laid back vibe to celebrate with all their friends and family, and of course great beer. Let me tell you, without a doubt, their awesome vision came to life!

We started the morning at the iconic Hotel Indigo in Mount Vernon. If you’ve never been, it is an absolute must see because it is definitely one of the most beautiful and unique hotels in the city.  Plus, the location could not have been more perfect to do their first look and portraits near the monument.

Sarah and Shane’s first look was definitely one for the books. It may have been freezing but there was no way Sarah was wearing a jacket.  Shane was completely blown away when he saw her! Both of them had the biggest smiles on their faces and despite the frosty winds whipping through downtown, their laughter and love made you feel the warmth.  We strolled around Mount Vernon, popping in and out of local spots to grab some heat, and then hopped right back out to snap some gorgeous photos of these two.  The pure joy and happiness that these two had when they looked at each, was nothing short of infectious, and you would have never known they were freezing!

Their ceremony took place on the third floor at Of Love & Regret, and let’s talk about a hidden gem… It was stunning in there!  Sarah & Shane exchanged their vows with the beautiful Baltimore Skyline in the background.  They had the entire crowd both crying and laughing, it was absolutely perfect!

One of my favorite parts of the day was at the end of the night, I told Sarah & Shane that I brought some confetti poppers. I asked them if they wanted to go outside to use them and Shane’s face was full of pure excitement. As soon as he popped the confetti, a huge gust of wind came and blew tons of confetti into the streets of Baltimore. It was truly magical and such a great ending to an amazing wedding!  Congratulations you two and thank you so much for allowing me to capture your big day!
